Tandoori chicken is a classic grilled dish known for its smoky flavor and spicy marinade.
Ingredients:
- 500g chicken pieces (large cuts)
- 1 cup thick curd
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon mustard oil
- Salt to taste
How to Prepare:
Make deep cuts in the chicken pieces so the marinade can penetrate well. In a bowl, mix curd, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, mustard oil, and all spices to prepare the marinade.
Coat the chicken thoroughly and allow it to marinate for at least 3-4 hours or overnight for better flavor. Grill the chicken in an oven or air fryer at 200°C for about 20-25 minutes, turning once halfway through.
Serve hot with onion rings, lemon wedges, and mint chutney.
